Business twins

Mirror business reality in the system: business objects, processes and rules each have a representation, giving AI the full picture.

What it is

Business twins are a prerequisite for AI to understand a business. JitAI's element model places business semantics and technical components together: an order is more than a table, customer credit is more than a field, and state transition rules live on the elements themselves.

  • Elements carry business objects, field semantics, relationship constraints and state rules
  • AI sees the full landscape of objects and elements, rather than only function names and parameters
  • Parent Apps define shared rules; child Apps override elements by name, accommodating both headquarters and branches

Without it

  • External agents: API access exposes only function names, parameters and return values
  • Missing business context: business objects, field semantics, relationship constraints and state rules remain invisible
  • Conflicting rules: headquarters needs consistency while branches need flexibility, creating ongoing tension in the system

How it works

How JitAI makes it work

Elements carry semantics

Business semantics and technical components live together, where AI can read them directly

App inheritance

Parent Apps hold shared rules; child Apps override same-name elements with local rules

Full visibility

The full landscape of objects and elements is available to AI, beyond interface and API views

Rules as elements

State transitions, approval chains and validation rules are all elements AI can understand

For AI to understand a business, the business must actually be represented in the system.
