Robust by specification

Element specifications are the single contract between development and operations. Type constraints make errors enumerable, and six automated checks validate everything from source to runtime.

What it is

JitAI constrains all output through element specifications. Types define declarations, resources, capabilities, loading and validation. AI produces within these constraints, reducing errors from unlimited possibilities to an enumerable list, then eliminating them through six stages of automated validation.

  • Standardization: Types define declarations, resources, capabilities, loading and validation
  • Self-description: declarations and resources live together as a complete unit
  • Self-loading and replacement: resolve by fullName and override by name without modifying the parent App

Without it

  • Unbounded errors: unconstrained programming allows types of AI errors that cannot be exhaustively enumerated
  • Manual recovery: without automatic feedback, errors must be found through manual testing
  • Weak constraints: relying only on prompts leaves output quality unpredictable

How it works

How JitAI makes it work

Type constraints

Specifications guide the generation of standardized elements, connecting development directly to execution

Six-stage validation

Source → app relationships → build → loading → functional validation → runtime validation

Three disciplines

Specifications before code; collaborate only through public capabilities; validate changes from the entry App

Context retrieved on demand

An element is the smallest unit that can be independently built and validated

Errors become enumerable, and quality is upheld by the system rather than relying on people alone.
